Problem of CCRC (Cheap Chinese Rubbish)

And I can tell you that the quality of the new chair market in the UK since 2012 has been abysmal.
We are professional enough not to criticise the competition (we never have – it is taboo in business!).
But OMG – most of the CCRC products on the market today are so bad and so unfit for purpose that they have to be called out!
You will find all the CCR chairs on alibaba.com – going for $25.00-$60.00 on average – they are appalling!
The problem is potential clients think that CCRC is where the market is at – the norm. This is a huge mistake.

Let me explain the differences between CCRC and the properly engineered chairs that we sell.
CCRCs don’t have a mechanism that controls the chair movements.
Properly made good quality chairs have a bulky mechanism under the seat.
This is important – the mechanism is the equivalent of a good engine under the bonnet.
CCRCs are constructed from just bent metal. This is to allow you to rest the gas height adjustment lever on.

The other factor is the foam and fabric – it is 99% UNLIKELY, that they will meet the strict UK fire & safety regulations required if you are selling in the UK market.
So you have a very big risk.
Supplying these CCRCs for your staff is like driving without car insurance!
They do a fair job of providing good quality stitching and patterns, but that only serves to hide their awful weaknesses.
Another major area of chaos that these CCRCs have created in the last 7-10 years is gaming chairs.
Every gaming chair I have ever seen is unfit for purpose. Labelling it a gaming chair is just an excuse to charge more for them.

This is a gaming chair. It looks good – until you get down to the mechanism (engine) level.
Then the lack of quality becomes apparent.
There are approximately two million gaming chairs on the market today that are broken.
There are a further 10 million in the in landfill sites – scrap yards won’t take them. There is no value in them – except if it has a metal base.
